# White Chocolate Chip & Macadamia Nut Cookies

# Ingredients
- 1 stick of butter
cup of white sugar cup of brown sugar- 1 egg
tsp of vanilla extract cup of cake flour cup of all-purpose flour tsp of cornstarch of baking soda tsp of salt cup of white chocolate chips cup of chopped macadamia nuts
# Directions
- Preheat oven to 400° F
- In a large bowl, mix together the cold cubed butter and the sugar on a medium speed until there are no more butter chunks
- Add the egg and vanilla and continue to beat on a medium speed until everything is well combined
- In a separate bowl, sift together the cake flour, AP flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt
- Slowly add the dry mixture to the wet \frac{1}{3} cup at a time
- Beat until a uniform, sturdy dough has formed.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips and the macadamia nuts
- Roll out 8 evenly sized balls and placed on a prepared baking sheet
- Bake on the middle rack for 9 minutes
- Let cool for half an hour before eating
