Mami’s Torta de Maiz
Ingredients
- 1 can of whole corn
- 2 cans of cream of corn
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of corn meal
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 stick of margarine
- 1 packet of white cheese (shredded)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350° F
- Add everything to the blender except for the cheese and blend on low-medium
- Add about half of the cheese to the blender
- Grease your baking dish
- Add half of the mixture and incorporate in more cheese then add the other half of the mixture and the rest of the cheese
- Bake for an hour (the top should be golden and when you poke it it should come out clean)
