# Mami’s Torta de Maiz

# Ingredients

  • 1 can of whole corn
  • 2 cans of cream of corn
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of corn meal
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 stick of margarine
  • 1 packet of white cheese (shredded)

# Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F
  2. Add everything to the blender except for the cheese and blend on low-medium
  3. Add about half of the cheese to the blender
  4. Grease your baking dish
  5. Add half of the mixture and incorporate in more cheese then add the other half of the mixture and the rest of the cheese
  6. Bake for an hour (the top should be golden and when you poke it it should come out clean)
