# Sausage Gravy

# Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork Breakfast Sausage
  • 1 tablespoon Salted Butter or bacon fat
  • cup All-purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Whole Milk
  • salt and pepper to taste

# Directions

  1. Cook sausage on medium-high heat until no longer pink. DO NOT DRAIN
  2. Add butter, wait for it to melt
  3. Stir in flour and cook for 2 minutes
  4. Add milk little-by-little, stirring constantly
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer until thick and bubbly
  6. Season with salt and pepper
