# Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Traditional chocolate chip cookies made with brown butter

# Ingredients

  • 1 sticks butter (6 oz)
  • 1 cups all purpose flour
  • tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • cup white sugar
  • 1 whole egg
  • 2 egg yolks

  1. Preheat to 375˚F

  5. After butter is relatively cool, add egg, egg yolks, and sugar and whisk until smooth, then whisk in the vanilla extract
  6. Using the spatula, fold the dry ingredients from step 2 into the butter mixture, then fold in the chocolate
  7. Let rest 5-10 minutes
  8. Scoop ~3 tbsp sized balls of dough and bake on cookie sheet until golden brown (~8-10 minutes)
